Homeless Swede has lived at the entrance to London's most expensive house for more than three years
Anders Fernstedt, a Swede who previously worked as a journalist at The Economist, has set up home on the portico of the mansion at 2-8A Rutland Gate, sold in 2020 for a record £210 million to Evergrande founder Hui Ka Yan. The house stands empty and is in legal limbo due to the freeze on Hui's wife's assets. Fernstedt's story unfolds against the backdrop of rising homelessness in London.
