According to SHOT PROVERKA, in 2026 two child deaths linked to vapes were recorded in Russia, and 12 more people were hospitalized. Ten regions have already passed laws banning the sale of e-cigarettes, and in 19 the issue is being discussed. From March 1, 2027, regions will gain the right to impose a full ban on retail vape sales as part of a five-year experiment.
