Russian MFA Summons Latvia's Chargé d'Affaires Over Dismissal of Embassy Social Security Department Staff
Russia's Foreign Ministry summoned Latvia's Chargé d'Affaires Ramona Krasovska and expressed a resolute protest over Riga's demand to dismiss the staff of the social security department at the consular section of the Russian embassy. According to the MFA, this jeopardizes the pension and social security of nearly six thousand Russian military pensioners and their family members in Latvia.
