From November 1, a new GOST standard for persimmons comes into effect in Russia
From November 1, Russian producers, importers and retail chains are switching to a new standard for persimmons. It introduces three grades of fruit and requirements for color, size and permissible defects. Green and overripe fruit will not qualify under any category.
