Anthropic warned in its IPO filing of 'catastrophic or existential' AI risks
Anthropic, the developer of the Claude model, stated in its registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ahead of its planned IPO that its technologies could pose 'catastrophic or existential risks to humanity.' More than 90 pages of the document are devoted to risk factors.
