French prosecutors requested 10 months of suspended imprisonment and a two-year ban from holding public office for Member of the European Parliament Rima Hassan over a deleted post on X quoting a participant in the 1972 Lod Airport attack. The prosecution qualified the post as 'glorifying terrorism'; Hassan calls the case politically motivated. The court has not yet ruled.
