Economy Ministry wants to open border crossings with China for passenger cars
Head of the Economic Development Ministry Maxim Reshetnikov, at a meeting of the heads of government of Russia and China in St. Petersburg, said that opening border crossings on the Russian-Chinese border to passenger cars would help develop automobile tourism. Currently, it is impossible to cross the border directly by car — the crossings are closed.
