Britain does not plan to change the law on the Parthenon Marbles, but allows their loan to Greece
UK Culture Minister Baroness Twycross stated in the House of Lords that the government does not intend to change the legislation preventing the permanent return of the Parthenon sculptures to Greece. At the same time, London supports negotiations between the British Museum and Athens on a possible loan of the exhibits.
