BMW i3 50L covered 1213 km without recharging in a range test in China
The new BMW i3 50L electric sedan covered 1213 km without recharging during an endurance test in China, arriving at its destination with 1% battery charge remaining. Average energy consumption was 8.8 kWh per 100 km. The car is built on the Neue Klasse platform with a 113.4 kWh battery and an 800-volt architecture. Series production and the model's launch on the Chinese market are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
