At a press conference in Tashkent, officials explained why electronic ramps in the metro do not work at all stations: the contractor has not completed all installation and commissioning works, and the facilities have not yet been accepted onto the metro's balance sheet. 38 ramps have been installed in test mode; lifts for passengers with reduced mobility were also discussed.
