British thinktank links 'quiet quitting' to falling productivity
Resolution Foundation has published a report showing that over ten years British workers have become less engaged in their jobs and less willing to do more than required. A survey of 4,656 adults found that willingness to 'go the extra mile' fell from 69% in 2015 to 55% in 2025. The authors suggest this may partly explain weak productivity growth after the pandemic.
