Chinese Satellite Connectivity Links Arctic, Antarctic and Tibetan Plateau for the First Time
China's national satellite internet system has for the first time provided connectivity in the Arctic, the Antarctic and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The polar icebreaker Jidi of the 16th Arctic expedition completed a pre-operational test of the system along Arctic shipping routes, the Xinhua news agency reported.
