Israel Demolishes Seven-Story Residential Building Near Qalandia Camp, Leaving 35 Palestinians Homeless
Israeli authorities demolished a building with seven apartments in the Al-Wad area near the Qalandia refugee camp north of East Jerusalem, citing lack of a building permit. According to the Jerusalem Governorate, the house belonged to the Abu Laba family, and 35 Palestinians lived there. It is reported that the owners were beaten and a car was smashed during the demolition.
