«Up Yours! God Save The Queens»: London exhibition on women of punk opens for the genre's 50th anniversary
The Museum of Youth Culture in London opens the exhibition «Up Yours! God Save The Queens» on 23 October, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of women's contribution to punk culture. Curators Lauren Estelle Jones, Celeste Bell and Vivien Goldman have brought together rare archival materials, previously unpublished photographs and contemporary works. Euronews Culture has also published a list of five key women's punk albums of the 1970s.
