Sauna owners in Prokopyevsk sentenced to terms of up to 9.5 years over the deaths of five teenagers
A court in Kemerovo Region has delivered a verdict in the case of the January 31, 2026 fire at a sauna in Prokopyevsk in which five teenagers died. The owner, manager, and administrator of the facility received sentences of 9 to 9.5 years in prison; they were also ordered to pay 39 million rubles in compensation for moral harm.
