69 projects launched and construction of 92 facilities worth over $6 billion started in Kashkadarya region
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his visit to Kashkadarya region, took part in a ceremony launching 161 projects with a total value of more than $6 billion: 69 facilities have been put into operation, and construction of 92 has begun. The projects include Cotonella textile production, fruit and vegetable processing with exports for Nestlé and Purina, hydroelectric power plants, a waste-to-energy plant, gold mining with Azerbaijan, and a tourist complex with Russian investors.
