Intel shares plunge 23% after gloomy PC sales forecast
After releasing its third-quarter report, Intel shares fell 23% in after-hours trading on October 29. The company forecasts a 12% decline in global personal computer sales in 2026 and another 10% in 2027, citing a shortage of and rising prices for memory chips. At the same time, Intel's quarterly revenue grew 21%.
