British parliamentarians said Palantir's letters were aimed at intimidating the company's critics
British MPs who criticised Palantir in parliament received letters from executives of the company's UK division. Jeremy Corbyn and Rachael Maskell called it an attempt at intimidation; Palantir says the letters were intended to correct inaccurate claims. The company retains contracts with the NHS, the Ministry of Defence and the police, and its dispute with London's City Hall over a £50 million contract has been settled out of court.
