Two people died in a collision between a Cobalt and an electric scooter in Samarkand region
On October 9, at around 13:00, in the Pakhtachinsky district of Samarkand region, at the 14th km of the 4K-560 road, a Cobalt car collided with an electric scooter. According to the Road Traffic Safety Department, the Cobalt driver swerved left to avoid hitting a cyclist who suddenly pulled out, lost control and drove into the oncoming lane. Two passengers of the scooter died — according to Kun.uz, a 57-year-old woman and her two-year-old grandson. The scooter driver was hospitalized in serious condition. A criminal case has been opened.
