Colorado flood sweeps residential house into river and smashes it against a bridge
On November 2 in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, the San Juan River burst its banks, undermined the bank and swept away a residential house, which broke apart upon impact with a pedestrian bridge. The river level approached the historic record of 1911, Archuleta County authorities declared a mandatory evacuation, and roads and bridges were damaged.
