Paddy Power owner to cut up to 1,400 jobs due to rising gambling taxes
Flutter, which owns Paddy Power, Sky Bet and Betfair, announced job cuts of up to 1,400, citing increased taxes on online casinos and betting. Offices in Leeds and Dublin will be hit hardest. The government called the decision commercial.
