More than 60 Christians killed in a series of attacks in Ethiopia's Oromia region
The Ethiopian Orthodox Church reported that more than 60 people were killed in a series of attacks on Christians in the Shirkka district of the Oromia region. A local official blamed the rebel coalition “Alliance for Survival,” which includes the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA); the OLA did not comment on the incident, but has previously denied involvement in similar attacks.
