Vapes Continue to Be Sold in North Ossetia Despite Adopted Ban
North Ossetia was the first in southern Russia to adopt a law banning the sale of vapes, yet the devices are still being sold in Vladikavkaz. Deputy Svetlana Doeva stated that the law's effect has been suspended, as the republic adopted it earlier than federal rules allowing a ban only from March 1, 2027. The rescheduling of deadlines in the region has not yet been approved.
