A New Qarshi to Be Built in Kashkadarya Region; Number of Marriages in Uzbekistan Declines for the Fourth Year
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during a visit to Kashkadarya Region, announced plans to build New Qarshi for 500,000 residents on 5,000 hectares. Also, according to statistics, the number of registered marriages in the country from 2021 to 2025 decreased by 38.1 thousand — roughly 12.5%.
