Underground Explosion Conducted in Nevada to Practice Detection of Hidden Nuclear Tests
At the Nevada test site, a charge was detonated at a depth of about 300 meters to simulate a seismic wave decoupling method and calibrate systems for recognizing covert nuclear tests. This was reported by Deputy Head of the National Nuclear Security Administration Matthew Napoli. Earlier, Pete Hegseth announced the Pentagon's plans to conduct nuclear weapons tests.
