National Trading Standards publishes first list of AI scam schemes
The UK's National Trading Standards has for the first time compiled a 'watchlist' of AI scams: fake online shops, deepfakes, voice cloning and personalised phishing. Experts warn that previous ways of spotting fraud, such as looking for typos, no longer work.
