Ministry of Transport reminds of the deadlines for switching to winter tires: the mandatory date is December 1
Russia's Ministry of Transport recommended changing tires when the average daily temperature is +5–7 °C and sustained frosts set in, while from December 1 the use of summer tires is prohibited by the Customs Union technical regulation. The Hydrometeorological Centre earlier advised Muscovites to change their car's tires by the coming weekend.
