Georgia deported more Russians in a single quarter of 2026 than in all of 2025
From July to September 2026, Georgia deported 109 Russian citizens — 1.5 times more than in all of 2025 (73 people). In total, 1,134 foreigners were expelled from the country during the quarter, most often Turkish citizens. The increase is linked to the tightening of migration legislation.
