Barnier: UK's return to the EU single market is possible only on the same terms as everyone else
Former EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier told the BBC that Britain has no 'single market à la carte': access to it would require compliance with all 'four freedoms', including the free movement of people. Prime Minister Andy Burnham previously allowed for a return to the internal market, but ruled this out before the next election and without a referendum.
