Spotify bets on AI agents: 788 million users and nearly €5 billion in revenue for the quarter
Spotify reported a strong third quarter: 788 million monthly active users and revenue of about €5 billion (~$5.6 billion). On the investor call, co-CEO Gustav Söderström explained why the company sees the era of AI agents as favorable for itself: Spotify is integrated with Meta Muse, ChatGPT and Claude and wants to become the media service that agents turn to by default.
