Navoi: Bobir Islomov appointed as new mayor
By decision of the governor of Navoi Region dated October 13, 2026, Bobir Husniddinovich Islomov has been appointed mayor of the city of Navoi. He previously served as first deputy chairman of the board of JSC 'Regional Electric Networks'. He replaced Dilmurod Ergashev, who had led the city since July 2023. The reasons for the previous mayor's dismissal have not been disclosed.
