Court rules unlawful the firing of Maurene Comey, daughter of former FBI head
Federal judge Jesse Furman ruled that the Trump administration unlawfully fired federal prosecutor Maurene Comey and ordered her reinstated with back pay for the period from July to December 2025. The Justice Department said it disagreed with the ruling and will appeal it.
