Uzbekistan to put 6 solar and wind power plant projects with a total capacity of 2,200 MW up for tender
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at an open dialogue with fuel and energy sector investors, announced a transition to a new procedure for selecting energy projects: ready-made projects will be put up for open tender with pre-announced sites, grid connection points and purchase terms. The first to go to tender will be six solar and wind power plants with a total capacity of 2,200 MW. A National energy development master plan up to 2050 will also be developed.
