Russian regions with the highest pensions named: the national average is 25,469 rubles
According to the Social Fund of Russia, in September 2026 the highest average pensions were recorded in Chukotka (42.2 thousand rubles), the Nenets Okrug (38.9 thousand) and Magadan Oblast (37.8 thousand). The average pension across Russia amounted to 25,469 rubles. At the same time, the transfer of frozen pension savings into the long-term savings program is being discussed.
