Minibus Collides with Shuttle at Eurotunnel Terminal: 19 Injured
On the evening of 15 October 2026, a minibus carrying lorry drivers collided with a Le Shuttle train on the loading platform of the Eurotunnel terminal in Coquelles near Calais. 19 people were injured, two of them seriously but with no threat to life. Shuttle traffic was suspended for about 90 minutes; Eurostar and freight services, according to authorities and the company, were unaffected. An investigation is underway.
