Head of Water Supply Service in Kibray District Detained While Receiving a $5,000 Bribe
Officers of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office detained the head of the state institution 'Water Supply Service' of Kibray District, Tashkent Region, while receiving $5,000. According to the department, he promised, for $16,000, to help a citizen avoid court over a house built near a canal. A case has been opened under Article 210 of the Criminal Code.
