South African rugby player Hacjivah Dayimani's teammate Khayron Andrews died of aortic dissection — autopsy in France
The 31-year-old Lions lock Khayron Andrews was found dead in the team's hotel before the Champions Cup match against La Rochelle. According to the franchise citing French authorities, the cause of death was an aortic dissection, likely against the background of an aneurysm — a natural cause, with no violent nature.
