Sadyr Japarov: Construction of the Kambarata-1 hydropower plant may begin in 2027–2028
Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov said that preparatory work on the Kambarata-1 hydropower plant project has been completed, and construction may begin in 2027 or 2028 and take five to six years. The project is being implemented by Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan on the Naryn River.
