Young Chess Players of Uzbekistan Won Five Medals at the World Championship in Spain
At the FIDE World Youth Championship U7–U17 in Spain, the Uzbekistan national team won five medals: one gold, three silver and one bronze. Lazizabona Komiljonova became world champion among girls U13. In total, more than 700 chess players from 82 countries took part.
