UN: Settler attacks and Israeli restrictions prevent Palestinians from harvesting olive crop
The UN said that repeated settler attacks and Israeli access restrictions prevent Palestinians in the West Bank from safely harvesting olives. Acting Special Coordinator Ramiz Alakbarov, together with diplomats from 13 states, visited Jenin, where farmers spoke about attacks and food security problems. The visit took place days after an attack on a delegation of European diplomats near the town of Taybeh.
