DoorDash to acquire Instacart for $17 billion
DoorDash has agreed to acquire competitor Instacart for $17 billion — $65 per share, a 26% premium to the price before reports of the talks emerged. The deal, the largest in DoorDash's history, will combine the leading food delivery service with the largest grocery delivery player; closing is expected by the end of 2027 or in the first half of 2028.
