Business confidence in Germany rose in October: the ifo index reached 90.2 points
The ifo business climate index in Germany rose to 90.2 points in October 2026 from 89.9 in September — the sixth consecutive month of growth. In manufacturing, both indicators returned to positive territory for the first time in more than three years, while analysts point to lingering risks.
