Saudi Arabia's Civil Defense on Thursday warned residents of the Khamis Mushait governorate in the Asir province via its early warning platform of a 'potential danger,' then announced the threat had passed, including in Abha. The nature of the danger was not disclosed. The warnings came amid an escalation between the Houthis and the Riyadh-led coalition: earlier the same day, two deaths were reported in an attack on Dammam airport, and the day before there were casualties at the Shaybah field.
