Bradford solicitor caught on hidden camera offering to 'remove' illegal worker fine for 10%
Solicitor Mohammad Alias Yusuf of Liberty Solicitors in Bradford was secretly filmed by the BBC offering an undercover reporter a way to avoid a £45,000 fine for employing an illegal worker — via an overseas 'ghost director'. He denies the allegations. Following the investigation, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood announced a review of the fines system: around £150 million remains uncollected.
