Ex-co-owner of the Solikamsk Magnesium Plant has applied for political asylum in France
Igor Pestrikov, former co-owner of SMZ, has applied for political asylum in France. At the same time, he is seeking about $1 billion in the High Court of England and Wales from the plant's former chairman of the board of directors, Alexander Gutin, for lost Russian assets.
