Idaho residents to choose an official state firearm in the midterm elections
In the US midterm elections, Idaho residents are voting on an advisory question: which firearm should become the symbol of the state. The ballot offers six options — four rifles, a .45 Colt revolver, and a Colt M1911 pistol. The initiative was introduced by Republican Jason Monks; even with voter support, the final word will rest with the legislature.
