Israeli strikes and shelling in southern Lebanon; military column advanced toward Hubbariyeh
Israeli aircraft and artillery struck several areas of southern Lebanon, while a military force — about 20 soldiers and four Merkava tanks — advanced toward the outskirts of Hubbariyeh, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reports. The strikes continue amid technical meetings in the US on the June 26 agreement for the phased withdrawal of Israeli forces.
