Harvard Law School alumnus (class of 1976) Morgan Chu and his wife Helen have given the school $31.4 million — the largest donation in its history. The funds will go toward funding six new professorships. According to the school, fiscal year 2026 set a record for donations raised — over $135 million.
Aziz KarimovPresident Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at a meeting with healthcare and pharmaceutical workers, instructed that at least $150 million in investments and grants be attracted to each region in 2027, a legal framework for bioethics be created, and training of specialists in hereditary diseases and genetic research be launched with Harvard Medical School. It was also announced that the experience of the neurosurgery school would be extended to the regions through a team-based work model.
