Rospotrebnadzor reports seasonal rise in ARVI and an increasing share of influenza in Russia
Head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova announced a seasonal increase in ARVI incidence and a growing share of influenza. According to her, about 5% of detected cases are influenza A (H1N1), against which the population has no established immunity. The agency recommends seeing doctors when feeling unwell rather than self-medicating.
