Greenhouse gas concentrations reached a record level again in 2025 — WMO
The World Meteorological Organization reported that in 2025 the average CO2 concentration at the Earth's surface was 426.8 ppm — 153% of the pre-industrial level of 1750. Records were also set for methane and nitrous oxide.
